Afghanistan, Adelaide and In-between - CANCELLED
Presented by Light Sound Art Film
Afghanistan, Adelaide and In-between has been cancelled. All ticket holders will be contacted. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you see you at the theatre soon.
Two countries, an unlikely friendship, and an incredible true story.
In 2001, a soccer-obsessed refugee from Afghanistan, Muzafar Ali, realised he wouldn't play for Man. United. Instead, his soccer skills landed him a job at the UN and changed his life forever. Later in Indonesia he became friends with Aussie filmmaker Jolyon Hoff.
Join them as they share the story of their friendship, and how they used film and photography to bring their two communities together and helped inspire thousands.
Due to the current climate strict Covid restrictions will be in place, please follow all rules on density, social distancing and follow directions from staff.
This is a Masked Event, please help reduce waste by bringing your own mask.
This event requires proof of double vaccination or exemption upon entry.
