At this years Fringe dance has arrived at Holden Street. 'Pedal' is the first in House of Sand's landmark dance and cross-artform production set to stimulate and enthrall their audience.

Award-winning emerging star of the cross-artform stage Eliza Sanders uses movement, text and song to create an interconnected hive of musings. Pedal charts the first part of an archetypal journey of discovery… in a completely a-typical way. Like absurd stream-of-consciousness writing, Eliza finds a-logical, illogical and semi-logical connections between ideas and memories. Motifs of travel and transformation of confinement and release recur and refract - from the silly to the sublime.

'Pedal' can be seen as a solo piece, or in conjunction with House of Sand's other production, 'Castles'.
